Evaluation.

If my partner and I were to do this again, we would ensure that we created more time for ourselves to film and edit our final piece to make sure that it was to the highest standard possible. Also, we probably would have created a more interesting and different type of story line and create one that was more out of the ordinary, so it is not like the majority of all other horror films and it would be more interesting to create and also watch. We would also include a more wide variety of shot types as our film opening included a small variety and if we would have included more, this could have possibly improved our mark and made our film look much more of a higher standard.

Gender.
Characters:
  • Victim - Lucy Welling.
  • Killer- Natalie Earle (Me)

My character challenges the traditional representation of the male characters being the antagonist. Females are usually represented in a very negative way in horror films - unintelligent, never survive. We decided to challenge this traditional representation and have a female murderer

Lucy's character portrays young teenage girls as being a victim and helpless in saving themselves and also that they are easy to take advantage of as during the film opening we learn that she is being followed and eventually will get murdered during the film. This goes along with the traditional representation of young girls in horror films being the victim and also one of the first of or the only ones to not survive.
